Description:
View of table contents. "This body of work has been influenced by religious practices from different cultures across the world, from Christianity to Voodoo. I have been unable to find peace in each belief system, and from day to day religion is being used as a tool to further the agendas of others. The imagery created is drawn from the basic principles that can be found in each religion, principles that have been forgotten; the balance of opposing forces and the acceptance of all elements that exist within body and mind. This shrine is testament to my continuous journey of personal development within this world." "Please feel free to take an offering card from the shrine. Offerings [in any form- any object] in the bowl are also welcome. Pay your respects to the Dead Gods." - Photographer's statement.
