Sir Titus Salt
Saltaire, Bradford, West Yorkshire
Deatil: relief on the plinth of this statue of Titus Salt in Robert's Park, Saltaire. The park was opened in 1853. Salt's fortune was made in textile manufacture and he exploited alpaca wool at an early stage in his career hence the reliefs on the base of his statue.
