Image used to represent the Symposium. Based on a photograph of Vega Bermejo carving a piece of stone. Used on all advertising material for the Stone City Symposium. Gives information on the activities run during this event. For a month in the summer of 1995 five sculptors carved five sculptures from stone on site at the Victoria Quays. The pieces were subsequently sited at five different locations in Sheffield. A number of other activities also took place at the same time to promote the event.
Financial and other support was given by the Sports and Arts Foundation, Yorkshire and Humberside Arts, Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield City Council and Yorkshire Artspace Society.
