Publicity poster for the Stone City Symposium. Posted on council poster boards throughout the city of Sheffield during the first half of 1995. For a month in the summer of 1995 five sculptors carved five sculptures from stone on site at the Victoria Quays. The pieces were subsequently sited at five different locations in Sheffield. A number of other activities also took place at the same time to promote the event.
Financial and other support was given by the Sports and Arts Foundation, Yorkshire and Humberside Arts, Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield City Council and Yorkshire Artspace Society.
