Participant in one carving workshop led by Celia Kilner at Victoria Quays, Sheffield. One of the ancillary activities that took place during the Symposium. Five sculptors involved in the Stone City Symposium. For a month in the summer of 1995 they carved five sculptures from stone on site at the Victoria Quays. The pieces were subsequently sited at five different locations in Sheffield. Financial and other support was given by the Sports and Arts Foundation, Yorkshire and Humberside Arts, Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield City Council and Yorkshire Artspace Society. Materials were provided by Realstone. Location: Victoria Quays. [photographed between 19 June and 16 July 1995 during the Stone City Symposium]
