The two plaques are sited on wall of the Ship Institute, North Pier, Newlyn Harbour.

The lower one details the generosity of Miss Nora Bolitho who "built the institute in 1911 .. and ever sought the welfare of all fishermen sailing out of Newlyn". The upper one commemorates the epic 116 day voyage in 1854-55 of the lugger 'Mystery' from Newlyn to Melbourne, Australia.
