Location: Sir Nigel Gresley Square, Doncaster Town Centre.

The Square is at the heart of the new Civic and Cultural Quarter in Doncaster and is surrounded by new Civic Offices, the (older) Central Library, and Cast - a new performance venue. Cast comprises 2 performance spaces, an education suite for dance and drama, cafes and bars, administration offices and dressing rooms. The same firm designed The Crucible Theatre in Sheffield in 1971.
Sir Nigel Gresley was a locomotive engineer who oversaw the design of the Mallard and the Flying Scotsman, built in Doncaster.
