Location: Entrance lobby, Sainsbury's, Archer Road. The building has a glass facade inside which the piece is suspended. Description: A panel , 2 metres high and 1½ metres high, made up of 35 glass panes. The design recreates an engineering drawing for Charron cars. Commission: Sainsbury's, under Percent for Art, to commemorate the Charron car, manufactured in 1912 by Laycock Engineering who were formally on the site. Comment: As the sun moves across the sky a secondary, coloured, reflection floor across the floor in front of the escalators changing shape slightly as it goes.
