Location: Martin Croft, Silkstone, South Yorkshire, S75 4JS. Description: Cross set on a wall with steps in front of it. Dimensions. Cross - Height: 460 from ground (cross itself 280 high); Width: 70; Depth: 45 cm. Wall – Height: 90; Width: 386 cm. Inscriptions: "1914 IN / MEMORY 1919" Commission: Unveiled 7th July 1922. Cost: £378 16s. 0d. Comment: The cross has been partially demolished by children playing on it, when repaired the height of the cross had to be reduced. [1] References: [1] IWM # 28120
