Exterior detail: one of the main arches that support the roof. Concrete arches support a central bell tower and copper roof. Succesful design after a competition was launched in August 1960. Wrought iron grilles depicting St John's vision of the Apocalypse from Revelations, designed and made by Maurice CALKA, cover the exterior of the mainly glass walls of the church.
