Photographer's statement: "My collective body of work is not only distinguished by a recording of everyday surroundings, but also an investigation into the interplay of colour, composition and content. These quietly evocative photographs alienate beauty in the mundane; and in coherence to this a certain ominous is produced. By introducing commonplace situations into an art context it highlights the simple pleasures and possibilities found in subject matter within our grasp. It is from these fragmented narratives you can differentiate between seeing, and seeing past what is obvious."
