Detail: one of the photographs. Photographer's statement: "BLOOD LINES is my examination based on how Humans act towards one another. Looking into our past and viewing the present we can see a continued rhythm of Violence, Bloodshed, lies and Deception. We are said to have all emerged from Africa and from inhabited the earth slowly. If we all came from the same place why do we look for differences? The boundaries between nations, ethnic groups, religious groups, social groups can be distinct through the blood of the people within these clusters. I have acquired blood smears of people whose race, religion, ethnicity, political affiliations are all unknown to me. Photographing interesting characteristics, I have looked at curious phenomenons lines, breaks, and hollow points to show that as much as we have visual differences, we are all the same originally."
