Description:
|
Exterior view: view from the observation platform at the highest point of the museum is at the top of the picture. An art gallery built within the walls of a 16th century fort - part of Palma's city walls. The exterior spaces are also used as exhibition areas - both courtyards and old & new walls being connected by ramps and balconies. The new structures are made of concrete and glass to distinguish them from the stone walls of the original bastion.
