Exterior view: Inscriptions read: 'United We Conquer' and 'In memory of the officers and men of the commandos who died in the Second World War 1939–1945. This country was their training ground.' Location: 2 miles outside Spean Bridge. Unveiled by HM the Queen Mother in 1952, the memorial is sited in the area where the first Commandos were based and trained.
