Exterior detail: Checkpoint Charlie Museum. Mixed-use apartment, museum and commercial use building. The border crossing hut has been retained as an adjacent memorial and tourist attraction. 'Staffed' by men in US military uniforms - tourists can have their photographs taken alongside these 'border guards'. Museum and souvenir shops are adjacent. Information boards at the road junction, site of the former border crossing, display photographs and information on the history of this section of the Wall. Location: Friedrichstraße 43 - 45, 10969 Berlin.
