Exterior detail: facade and adjacent building (Hotel Adlon). Location: Wilhelmstrasse 70 - 71, 10117 Berlin. Erected on the site of the former British Embassy after the re-unification of Germany. The original building had been abandoned at the outset of WW2 and was isolated by the Berlin Wall which passed immediately west of the site.
