Exterior detail: columns of the Temple in front of the Church Facade. Location: Palatine Hill - the site of the Roman Forum - in Rome. The columns of the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina were retained and the Church of San Lorenzo in Miranda originally built inside them in the 7th and 8th centuries ad. The Church was extensively remodelled from 1602 by TORRIANI.
