Exterior view: Palatine Hill. The Temple and Church are foreground (left). Location: Palatine Hill - the site of the Roman Forum - in Rome. The columns of the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina were retained and the Church of San Lorenzo in Miranda originally built inside them in the 7th and 8th centuries ad. The Church was extensively remodelled from 1602 by TORRIANI.
