Description:

Interior view: composite photograph of the concert hall - view towards the stage from the top of the balcony. Royal Festival Hall was built by the Greater London Council Architects' Department as part of the Festival of Britain. Their team of 3 architects was led by Leslie Martin. The riverside facade was subsequently altered - 1964. Later, in 2005-2007, the entire building was restored (Archts: ALLIES & MORRISON) - photographed just after the completion of this later refurbishment.
