Description:
|
Exterior view: riverside façade - with the London Eye in the background. Built by the Greater London Council Architects' Department as part of the Festival of Britain. Their team of 3 architects was led by Leslie Martin. The riverside facade was subsequently altered - 1964. Later, in 2005-2007, the entire building was restored (Archts: ALLIES & MORRISON) - photographed just after the completion of this later refurbishment.
