The series follows 15 teams as they compete against each other at different dance contests around the UK. / The gender role and sense of identity within the dancers, and the preparation they uptake to stay pristine throughout the day, are all factors of the surreal and wonderful lifestyle the dancers exhibit. / My work represents this profound subculture in all its glory, focusing on the candid moments backstage, yet still portraying all aspects of the ballroom scene."
