Detail: Text accompanying the show reads: "My work looks to confront the advertising industry with bold images that depict failings associated with implied advertising. Borrowing from commercial photographic techniques, my photographs bluntly show an overly dramatic world in which the consumer falls under the subject lonely and disappointed. The photographs sit as part of a larger instillation which shows a narrative between the subjects and their purchases whilst helping relate them to the real world. The combination of these elements creates an environment where the consumer and their feelings are viewed with just as much importance as the advertising that has affected them." Location: outside the Gallery in the Furnival Building.
