Exterior view: View of Café with tower in the distance. In the foreground (right) are open galleries for activities generated by the Olympic Games. The Café is made from 11 recycled containers, the viewing galleries from a further 3. The Café is located on the Greenway, a permissive path running through the south corner of the Olympic Park. The Café with its viewing gallery was set up to allow visitors to observe progress on the Olympic Games site. The Café building also includes a cycle hire business. East of the Café is a small area laid out as a garden for visitors, particularly for school parties. Guided parties are frequent visitors. The Café itself uses sustainable and recycled materials. The building was installed by Urban Space Management, who also developed Container City I and II at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London's Docklands.
