Description:

Housing blocks in Low Elswick, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Those on the right have been renovated with new facades. Built on land cleared of terraced housing. St Stephen's Church (left) was consecrated in 1868. The area was heavily industrialised in the 19th century. The riverside is now occupied by Newcastle Business Park.
