Description:
|
Exterior detail: recycled exhausts used in planter. Part of a temporary garden laid out in the town hall square. The paths are coated with pellets made from crushed tyres. Seating is made from leather car seats. The table is a shock absorber supporting a steering wheel. Location: Town Centre. Designed on the theme of "Cars versus Nature" using 6 cars, 1 tractor, 1 moped and 2 bikes, plus assorted recycled car parts. Encourages the viewer to "think about the relationship between the short lived life of consumer goods and the timelessness of Nature ... Nature always returns to relaim its territory".
