Interior detail: South Aisle. View of columns and capitals - looking towards the nave and other aisle. Building dates between 1096 and 1215. The apse and choir were badly damaged by fire in 1165 and were replaced, in a Gothic style, between 1185 and 1215. The church sits at the top of a hillside village which is a hugely popular tourist destination.
