Description:
|
Interior view: North Aisle. Viewed from its western end and looking across into the nave and other aisle. Building dates between 1096 and 1215. The apse and choir were badly damaged by fire in 1165 and were replaced, in a Gothic style, between 1185 and 1215. The church sits at the top of a hillside village which is a hugely popular tourist destination.
