Description:
Exterior detail: South Facade near the South-East Tower with attached abbey buildings (right), which are not part of the church itself. Building dates between 1096 and 1215. Sculptures on the West facade were destroyed c. 1793. External renovation (1840-1859) followed, which includes replacement of the Last Judgment in the tympanum (re-sculpted by PASCAL, 1857). The church sits at the top of a hillside village which is a hugely popular tourist destination.
