Description:
|
Exterior detail: doorway in the West end of the church. The fourth church on this site. A pre-Norman church was replaced by a Victorian one which was demolished after subsidence from mining at Grassmoor Collieries. A wooden structure was built in 1922 but this was damaged by strong prevailing winds and the solution found was to replace it with this fibreglass structure.
