Description:
|
Exterior view: stained glass by Brian CLARKE (1990-1995). The original shopping development was built by MATCHAM (c.1900). It spread from Vicar Lane to Briggate and contained two arcades (County Arcade and Cross Arcade). The 1990-1995 redevelopment saw a third glass roof built over Queen Victoria Street and created quite an upmarket shopping complex.
