Description:
|
Location: Sheaf Square. View looking over this piece with the Midland Station buildings behind. A section of this face above the pool has running water on it, though the rest of this side is dry. The entire face on the reverse side has water running down it. The illuminated glass inserts at either end are by MUKAIDE, a third blue-purple light runs beneath the piece for its entire length. The City Council commissioned this piece which ".... celebrates Sheffield's engineering and metal industries." (Press release - 27 November 2002)
