Location: above the main entrance to Sheffield Town Hall, Pinstone Street.
The Coat of Arms is supported by Thor and Vulcan, the Norse and Rome gods of thunder and fire respectively, but both smiths for their fellow deities. They appear on the current Coat of Arms for Sheffield. Queen Victoria opened Sheffield Town Hall on 21st May, 1897.
(The carvings are protected from pigeons by a net)
