Exterior view: four bedroom octagonal house. Wood burning stove in centre of the house (and gas boiler - not used). Shredded paper insulation. One of the houses built in the Ecovillage (also known as 'The Field of Dreams') (also known as 'The Field of Dreams') for members of the Findhorn Foundation to create "sustainability not only in environmental terms, but also in social, economic and spiritual terms". The architect Andrew YEATS was resident community architect on the Ecovillage Project for six years before relocating his ecological architecture practice, Eco Arc, to Yorkshire in 1992.
