From 1955 Fry, Drew & Partners built accommodation and office blocks for the Anglo-Persian Oil Company at the first oilfield in Iran at Masjid-i-Suleiman (Khozestan Province) and also planned a new oilfield township at Gachsaran (Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province). The photographer was an architect working for Fry, Drew & Partners (see Related Information).

Duncan Horne, an architect, left a collection of slide transparencies on his death. These were donated to Sheffield Hallam University's Slide Collection by his daughter in 2007. Duncan Horne trained in Liverpool, and then worked in London for Maxwell FRY, Jane DREW, and Partners. He moved to Australia in 1965 where he worked with Bert HELY.
