Left to Right: Laura White, Paula Haughney, Jonathon Cox, Vega Bermejo, Mick Farrell. The five sculptors involved in the Stone City Symposium. For a month in the summer of 1995 they carved five sculptures from stone on site at the Victoria Quays. The pieces were subsequently sited at five different locations in Sheffield. Financial and other support was given by the Sports and Arts Foundation, Yorkshire and Humberside Arts, Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield City Council and Yorkshire Artspace Society. Materials were provided by Realstone.
