Description:
|
Location: Salford Quays. Exterior detail: curved prow on one corner of the main museum shard. The design concept reflects the earth shattered by wars and conflict. The museum is composed of 3 shards from this destruction. The shards represent earth, water and air. The Millennium Bridge (Michael WILFORD & PARTNERS, 1999) is visible underneath the overhanging roof.
