Exterior view: central portion of entrance facade with sculptural frieze and an old exhibition banner. Drainpipes are half-recessed into the exterior wall. Location: Damrak, Amsterdam. Built to accommodate all kinds of stock trading the building is now called the Beurs van Berlage and is used as a venue for events and exhibitions. It was a precursor to the work of the Amsterdam School.
