Description: 
Exterior detail: sculptural relief frieze above the main entrance by L. ZEIL entitled "Paradise, Fuiture and Culture in Decay". Built to accommodate all kinds of stock trading the building is now called the Beurs van Berlage and is used as a venue for events and exhibitions. It was a precursor to the work of the Amsterdam School.
