Description: 
Exterior detail: West End - central porch. An older building was destroyed by fire in 1210. Construction on this building began exactly a year later and took 80 years although extensive alteration and decoration were carried out therough the following century. It was badly damaged during the 1st World War and extensively restored in the 20th century. Most of the Kings of France were crowned here.
