Description:
|
Location: Sheaf Square. Detail at the lower end of this piece. Pool and base of the sculpture. The entire face on the station side has water running down it. The illuminated glass inserts at either end are by MUKAIDE, a third blue-purple light runs beneath the piece for its entire length. The City Council commissioned this piece which ".... celebrates Sheffield's engineering and metal industries." (Press release - 27 November 2002)
