View from behind the site during construction. The inner concert halls buildings have their basic structure completed. The framework for the outer exterior for the entire complex has just begun to be installed. The Sage Gateshead is a multipurpose music venue home to Folkworks, the University of Newcastle's Traditional Music Degree students, Gateshead Library and the Northern Sinfonia. It includes two major concert halls, recording and rehearsal rooms, hospitality venues, office and archive space, and conference and teaching rooms.
