Description:
|
Detail: screening by the side of a cycle and footpath. The area is prone to subsidence, due to salt mining, and has been left to fill naturally with water. Wild life encouraged with schemes to ensure a measure of privacy for birds and animals on the lake and planting and wood management around its edges. Visitors can view the wildlife unobserved from hides, or less formal screening as shown here. Location: Neumann's Flash. This area forms part of a network of Community Parks and Woodlands on the edge of Northwich. It is located near to the centre of Northwich and criss-crossed by pipes joining the two main chemical works to the north and east of the town.
