Exterior detail: interlocked timber at a corner of the building. Shingles used to drain water from the base of the building. Caulking between boards made from wood-shavings woven together and pressed evenly into the spaces between the timbers. Wooden chapel built in the local Zakopane style based on traditional building techniques and forms from the region. Popular destination for tourists, the building is used for services but also houses a small museum on the basement floor. The area is a National Park and encourages walkers and mountaineers in the summer months, skiiers in the winter.
