Description:

Location: Sheaf Square. View from the pedestrian crossing at the bottom of Howard Street. The dry side of the sculpture - the side has flowing water flowing over it and is illuminated at either end and along its base. The City Council commissioned this piece which ".... celebrates Sheffield's engineering and metal industries." (Press release - 27 November 2002). Midland Station was built in 1870 and substantially renovated 2002 - 2007. Park Hill Flats are visible on the skyline (Architect: J.L. WOMERSLEY - 1957-1961)
