Description:

Detail view of prexisting volcanic rocks and imported black sand. Over 20,000 cubic metres of dark sand were imported to create beaches surrounded by landscaped garden areas on what was previously a rocky coastline. Further offshore concrete blocks beneath the water break up the effects of the waves.
