Consett-Sunderland Cycle Path, Co. Durham and Tyne & Wear
raised earth , flower planting
Detail view of raised 'beds' planted with ox-eye daisies. The piece is best viewed from across the valley when the plants flower white. One of the landmark sculptures on the Sustrans Trail which utilises the disused Consett-Sunderland Railway line. The site was formerly occupied by Charley Pit.
