Description: 
Exterior view. The canal and a corner of the New Mill with its tower and connecting bridges to the original West and East Mill complex. Now redeveloped as an arts and shopping complex. Saltaire itself was built from 1851 by Sir Titus Salt (1803-1876). It contained his mills; housing for workers; hospital, institute and schools for their use and a park.
