Exterior view of the front of the building looking across Church Street in 1989 before the tramlines were installed. The post-war building, with entrance, by BAILEY is to the left, earlier work to the right. Commission: The Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul, Sheffield, was granted cathedral status in 1914 and expanded and restored to designs by Charles NICHOLSON. Following some war damage, this work was begun again with a new architect, Arthur BAILEY.
