COOKE and TWIST , TOFT
The Hall of Memory, Centenary Square (by COOKE & TWIST), erected to commemorate 12,320 Birmingham citizens who died in the Great War, is the domed building to the right. Exterior sculptures, Allegories of Army, Navy, Air Force and Women's Services, are by TOFT. The sculpture visible is a representation of the Navy. The paving in the foreground is part of the design for the whole of Centenary Square by JARAY (1991)
