Detail: Central section with bar-table, fiddle, beer-glass and bottle and the chorus of a well-known local song on a fragment of 'paper': "KEEP YOUR FEET STILL GEORDIE HINNY / LETS BE HAPPY THRO THE NEET / FOR WE MAY NOT BE SO HAPPY THROUGH / THE DAY / GIVE US THAT BIT COMFORT / KEEP YOUR FEET STILL GEORDIE LAD / AND DIVVENT DRIVE ME BONNY / DREAMS AWAY" One of a series of waymakers made for the Ouseburn Valley near Byker. Commissioned by the Ouseburn Valley Partnership. Funded by RALP. The series features bottles - this one has a fiddle and beer glasses as well as it's near a famous music pub in Byker called the Cumberland Arms
